I bought them yesterday, but this morning, the long finned danio is chasing the others, trying to nip their tails. I bought them all at the same time, and to start off with they seemed fine. There are only 4 altogether in a 60L tank. I don't know what do do? I haven't seen any damage to their tails or fins, but I am worried. They have plants and ornaments and caves to hide in/behind, but please help!

take the fish out if the other fish are fine & showing no aggreshion give the fish away or swop it at the shop if you can,you don`t want stress in your tank as when the fish get stressed they get disease, the art of keeping fish is having a tank where the fish all get along.the sad thing with tropical fish is the better looking the fish is the more aggressive it is,you are better keeping a small back up tank running for problems like this & allso if you suspect a fish is ill so it as less chance of spredding

You may want to get two more if you have the room. This is the way danios behave. Most likely the one chasing the others is a dominant female. Some of the ones she's chasing are probably males (they will be smaller than females, but more brightly colored). If you have a few more fish, it will spread out the chasing so no one fish gets picked on too much.
