Never go by the ratings on the tire. Those #s are maximum psi allowable before damage or injury.
Always go manufactures recommended psi. - a different psi will affect the handle characteristics of the bike.
Jap bikes have that info on a sticker on the swing arm or chain guard.
They also have it printed on the VIN# plate.

It should say on the tire and in your owners manual. If all else fails, it's usually on the inside of the driver's side door. I have a Harley so I can't help you on this one.

depends on the tires, they will have the rating on them somewhere on the edgewall. typically around 40psi for sportbike tires.
