the three players are very good one's we can't find them in the internetionazl cricket no more when they get retired from the internetional cricket
ricky ponting is greater one among them because he is the present captain of the australlian cricket and he got WC2003 and WC2007 for the aussies

The comparison is slightly unfavouraable as far as Sachin Tendulkar is concerned. It is not enough if you consider their cricketing abilities alone. All three have been captains and in this respect, Sachin definitely takes a back seat. Overall the rating would be Sir Allan Border, Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar.

As far as batting, then Mr.Allan Border (not Sir!) is the least. Captaincy Sachin is the minnow! So for the fact that Border laid the foundations of the present greatness of the Australian side he deserves the accolades. He fought stoically thru a terrible time for Oz cricket when we struggled to win games(hence the nick name Captain Grumpy!!). Ponting is a blazing star with the bat and a good captain of an established team of champions! Tendulkar WAS a masterful batsman.

As far as past records are concerned, Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest batsman as compared to other twol. However, he is out of form for quite some time and as such has not been peforming well in the recent past. Hence he cannot be considered as the greatest batsman at present. Presently Ricky Ponting is the best batsman

All these three are great batsmen of very high caliber ...
but i think border stands a level high coz he during his term laid the foundation for the aussie supremacy in world cricket which continues till this day.
