We are huge gardeners. Last year me and my husband had 30+ tomato plants. My dad usually has 100+. We also grow cucumbers, squash, corn, green beans, carrots, beets, pumpkins, watermelon, etc. I am a stay at home mom so I am always in the garden. I hate weeds so my garden is usually weed free. It takes a lot of work, but it's worth it. We can everything.

I love gardening, but how extensive I get depends on how much I feel like doing the work and spending the money... I have set up entire gardens with little more than cuttings and I have set up gardens with lots to spend... but in the end the weeding needs doing... almost every week... removing old flowers, pruning, cleaning the weeds from the tiles... lots to do... gardening and plants are always a grateful subject when talking to other green-fingered enthousiasts... things like: hows your prune doing today...:) or the japanese knotweed is really taking over eh? ... :) so... that's how extensive I get. I even bought the RHS book that has every tip in it you need to do everything right... vegies too... :)

really extensive....it becomes almost an obsession for me in early spring, but once everything is goin', it is relaxing to water, prune etc. I recently completed a master gardener program through my counties extension office. If you want to learn ALOT, I suggest contacting your local extension office. The classes are usually inexpensive, and it will grant you access to many other classes. I also mention to my favourite nurseries that I am a master gardener, and they always give me good deals, and let me preview the greenhouses before they are open to the public.....

more than I care to, i'm NOT a gardener but, there is something very relaxing to it for sure, sometimes I just go to do something simple in the garden, and i get all caught up in it, i don't know why ? "GIMME DIRT" !
