Definitley not. BAnd members may belong to a certain band, but them having different styles creates a more interesting outlook on the band as a whole. What I mean to say is that, everyone in the world changes and the band can be more successful if they have different styles as the views of a person changes, and with time, they'll have different favorites in the band, but will stick to the same band. An example for me is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The guys in there all have a different style and that's what makes it more interesting to me. They're music changes too with the generations their playing for.

no way! bands are unique in their own ways, and band members should be too! dressing differently is just a way of showing that everyone in the band is not the same person playing a different instrument!

Maybe not exactly alike but if they all wore a suit,
I think then it would be good for each to wear a different color. CasuaI clothes, different style but same colors on each. I think it makes them look more professional and it looks like they have class.

Yes, they should. Can you imagine if Paul Stanley had been the only member of KISS to dress up like that, with the other three guys coming out in jeans and T-shirts? Ridiculous.

The Beatles did it so it can work, it gives unity, it can also be done for effect, like Devo did.

Is it a rule? No! I can't see a Punk Band doing it (Devo by the way is not Punk).

Maybe the same colour but not totally identical. That would just take away from each member's own personal identity.
