How do u calculate tensile strength from a Stress vs Strain graph?

Thanks heaps for your help.

The tensile strength is the stress at the yield point. The yield point is where there is a sudden (inelastic) increase in strain. The stress/strain graph for metals is a straight line up to the yield point, where it makes a sharp bend. The stress value at that point is the tensile strength of the material.
