I can't seem to get into the right attitude for school work, I'm either bored to death or i'm trying but not getting it. which is more frustrating, i need to know what others do in order to get the whole of their education! current Gpa is under 3.0!!!!

If you can get more study done in less time you have more time for your extracuricular activities. "Females."

Memory techniques has an extensive list of books you could read.

I read using the question system.
I skim over the pages of the entire study section. See what checks my minds eye. Then I scan the text on the pages of study material looking at just the words that are significant. Skipping words like "the, and, or, but, see, when'' leaving them out when I scan so I get the content.
Then I create questions in my mind that are aimed to focus my own minds attention on what I find. After a ten minute break I read the section, and find answers as I see words that are structured as information to my answers. I reread to see if I find anymore questions arise.

By this method I reinforce my memory of the text. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do you can study a couple of nights a week and leave the study of it, except a quick refresher, until test day.
I used to study for hours on a subject and it drained me. Then I started using this method and curiousity built a mind key storage categorizing my own question relate answer system and I only had to study any subject twenty minutes three times a week to reinforce my memory. I pulled six classes and twenty minutes of study for each. Two hours a night. Speed readers use the same method.

A fast reader can accomplish more in three twenty minute sessions a week, for each subject, and learn the text on terms based from their own interests.

Be aware. That using this method allows more time to take care of interests you find by questioning the contents and you can become really intrigued by some of your own guidelines.

If you are not careful you may forget to take a rest for your brain to recuperate or to study courses for your other classes.
While studying for school exams try to keep in mind you could loose it by not making test days.

Once you have mastered the skill four study nights for the days tests can be reduced to two study sessions and one refresher session the day before the test. Get a good nights sleep the night before the test.

Which wisdom has shown me, rest to recuperate is vital, because the brain is a muscle and needs a good rest to recover from heavy study sessions.

I would not be answering these questions if it did not reinforce my own memory. If I had learned good typing skills you would be reading a book here instead of this short memo.

(PLS read all) I don't think that anyone can really give a proper answer to this type of question. I was, and to some extent am still the same way about work, and school. Once i got out of high school i looked at all the things that i did for leisure and realized i could have done without most of those things and concentrated more on what was important. Work can be boring at the present, but try your best to focus on the future that hard work can lead you to. Write down motivational lines in places that you will notice them often, and try your best to limit certain needless leisure activities until your goals have been met and accomplished. I hope that this has been somewhat beneficial, though short.

Been there, done that! Somethings to look forward to: College is fun and great experience. After college/career, even better.
So think of high school as a step to all these great things.
Some ways to motivate yourself: study with other students who are doing well in class. Their work ethic, knowledge will motivate you to do better. Its also fun!
Set goals for yourself (i.e 4.0 GPA for the semester). You won't get there right away, but your grades will go up faster than you can imagine.
Lastly remember to mix in fun with hard work. It is possible to have a balance.
Keep your head up, smile/laugh and have fun.
If I can do it, so can you. Good luck!

List out all the stuff that stops you from doing your work. Then try to set them aside and make your school work your number one priority. Because if you play around now, it won't be good. This is going to be hard but well worth it in the end. Girls will always be there.

My institution is a personal, Catholic institution and it has a fairly well popularity.
