When my HP Pavilion computer loads Windows ME/XP about less then a minute the monitor will go off. I have tried different monitors and replaced and repositioned the graphics card with a new one and still the same problem. What is going on??

Try going to safe mode and do a system restore. If this does not work, repair your OS w/ this for XP:

I think your problem is monitor cable, try to change your monitor cables , and check pins.
