NO. Some courses are required because its important that everyone is educated in that subject. Like at my school, a student only had the option of not taking math after they finished a certain level. Also a lot of students dont know what they want to do when they are older so it helps kids decide what they like and dislike.

Certainly not! Students aged 18 and below aren't matured enough to decide what is good for them. They should be guided until they are 18 after which they can do whatever they want to do.

They do in some schools and to a certain degree. that is what majoring is all about. Prior to that however, standard belief is that all need a basic/well rounded education.

High schools allow you to make your own choices in year 9 but its good that kids ahave wellrounded education in most subjects.Some kids dont always know what they want to do with their life so its good to have variety.
