You know,without tv,cars,etc. I don't think I would last more than a day.

interesting question--have a star! actually, i am 1/4 Amish, and i tend to live a rather simple life. simple pleasures for simple minds, lol. but really and truly in a community, prob last about a week. maybe.

I think for about a month or two, I like the idea of building things out of wood, old school style, no power tools, and I like how everybody takes care of each other, not sure how I would do with the religion but we'll see.

I think I would have to be born into that lifestyle to survive, certainly not knowing what I know now. Anyhow, that is a moot point because it could never happen. Outsiders are not allowed in.

I could really dig it, sure no car would suck but l'm good on a bike and horse... and all amish have cute cousins... anyways..
no beer/ music would suck

probably not more than a few hours. i give those people credit, because i am a slave to technology. i couldn't imagine leading a simple life. it makes you stop and think of how spoiled we are.
