Of course its only an opinion. From observation it just seems that each religion just contradicts each other. I'd figured that wouldn't religion be something that everyone could agree on, something simple? But whatever, I don't understand it and I probably never will.

Its not that every piece of religion is wrong, its how it influences people to think. Some parts of every religion is understandable.

In my opinion also religion is just a mindless belief people are raised up to abide by. Simple brainwashing if you will. People do need hope and faith but shouldnt it be directed more towards ones self being and others instead of an all mighty (egotistical) figure(s)? Lots of religions do cancel each other out, who ends up in hell out of all these webbed beliefs? People should enjoy life to its fullest and love one anotherdeeply, not a servant to an angry god. Nor should someone shun another just because they cannot be forced to believe the same way, religion should be a private ordeal and if someone wakes up one day and decides to seek "god" Then that is his/hers journey to search for themselves instead of being sucked into 50 different beliefs.

You are right every religion is wrong. Have you noticed that every war and conflict that has effected the earth since humans reigned has been due to religion? Religion breeds culture which in return breeds the inability to believe anyone else has beliefs that are as important. Wars start from religion wanting more land for their people, power for their people and people believing what they believe. Maybe we should take a leaf out of Kirstin Dunsts book and say lets all get stoned and forget about liefs problems and who is different.

Imagine my quandry! As a kid I took communion. I understood then what that was all about. I do not believe in taking communion every year. I will not take communion again. Simply because I feel it is a form of necromancy and cannibalism (in effigy). It was my parents, that allowed me my decision as to baptism and what church (or school of thought, if you will) I was to adhere too. Here I am 30 years later unbaptised, with more understanding of religion and unable to find a person strong enough in their faith to witness my baptism. I have gone to different churches, listened to quite a few preachers, ministers and priests. And when I have approached them on the subject of baptism I have only heard what amounts to bargaining for my soul.
You see I think it is strange too that the first four translations of the Bible to English, to be mass produced, the benefactors that have called for the translations have been excomminicated from the church. For some reason the people who have called for the later translations such as the New International Version and New World Bible have not been excommunicated. The reason these people have not been excommunicated is simply put as they are proponents of organized of religion. Or religion by perscription if you will, or religion to fit the times. This in my opinion is where secularism has crept into religion. This has also brought about another form of Christianity that I refer to as the rat hole version. To me this rat hole version is among the worst. Because it teaches people to dig through the Bible from book, chapter and verse to book, chapter and verse to find meaning for the first verse they read that day. This breaks up the overall context of the idea presented in the story they are reading, while taking things out of context from other stories.

I have several questions that very few if any people of religion can even come near to answering. These questions stem from the fact that Jesus mostly spoke in parables and that is nothing more than a story of comparative truths. From there I cannot help but think on the idea of "Heaven on Earth and Life Everlasting" and "The End of Times", that he spoke of. I also cannot help but to think on how many righteous people are working toward the End of Times. When they could have been working toward Heaven on Earth.

So if you do not understand it and do not know it you should wait with making an opinion.
Every religion has truth in it, but often then later mixed up with distortions based on humans opinions or ideas. So what you sense here is indeed not wrong, as how can for example a religion which is based on the words "love thy neighbor as thyself" make people believe they are "better" then others. Where is there the love of your neighbor?

its not the religion lad it is the followers of the perticular religion who are wrong ,at time when the whole world is under fury of religious war, people have tend to blame religion then the real cause.and sad part is that this debate is never ending because their is deeper feelin involved in the cause.may be you might be true under certain stances but religion as whole has stood behind each human being in this aesthic world.religion is only the persons choice its belief and then implementation has to be performed in a manner that it never contradicts with that of other

ok right it somewhat is the way it relatively works. Christians bypass by what their instruction manual says (that's the Christian Bible) and not by what the international has to declare, or by the guiding gentle of their very own biased opinion. hence the undemanding reason Christians have self assurance that each and each physique different religions are incorrect is with the help of the fact the Bibles tells us so and specific it does recommend that human beings who shop on with different religions are going to hell. My opinion, being which you asked, and biased because it somewhat is, is that i does no longer supply you 2 cents for an “all roads carry approximately heaven” faith besides. It’s organic lukewarm spit it out of your mouth stale water. the two you think in some thing or you don’t. there is an previous asserting that “hell is paved with sturdy intentions” and that’s precisely what you have once you think of that each and each physique religions are precise; sturdy intentions and not something extra.
