If the back tire goes out your gonna eat crap hard. Take it to the bike shop and they'll either patch it or tell you if you gotta buy a new one.

You can use it to get from where your puncture occured BUT if you do use it you should replace the tube or if it is tubeless the tire.If your running tubeless tires buy yourself one of those tire repair kits with the spike, found myself stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat awhile ago and a mate was carrying one worked great and dead simple as well. The reason you change the tube or tire after using one of those fix-a-flat things is when that rubber cement stuff dries it doesn't always dry evenly throwing the balance of your tire off and like the previous answer said theres not that much rubber on the road why cripple your handling before you even start the bike.Hope this is of some help.

Fix-a-flat, tubeless tire plugs and patches are for emergency use only. To get your bike home or to a shop.
Like everyone has said - spend the money and buy a new tire or risk serious injury!
This is no joke!

Just a thought, from experience - the only thing any of thei fix-a-flat stuff has ever done for me was to show where the hole is, then I could plug it, and get to a shop to get a new tire. THE ONLY WAY TO FIX A FLAT AND LIVE TO ENJOY IT!!!!

simple answer, NO. your risking your life and others. on ANY bike, you've only got two tires to hold you to the road (one really on an r1, have one myself) and you don't want to mess with your life.

don't even get it patched imo, suck it up and get a new tire.
