No, I never dreamed that I would lose everything I had in Katrina and have to start over. I never dreamed that I would be teaching in Northern Mississippi. I never dreamed that I would be happier than people thought I would even after having gone through many tragedies in life...I don't think anyone ever really thought their lives would be the way it ended. Mine has only just begun...

NOT at ALL!
When I went to high school I thought I would go on to be a highly motivated professional in some type of technical career.
I joined the US Air Force right out of high school so as to pay for college, buy a nice car and save some money to live on while in college.
But, i wound up marrying my girlfriend, and all my dreams did not come true. It took me six years to get my degree once I got out of the military, and I still don't own a nice car, and I never became the highly motivated engineer!! We're still married many years later, but my biggest regret was being in a big hurry to get married. Then I was in a big hurry to earn a degree. So i wound up settling on a degree that I would later regret getting, a BA in Elementary Education.
I'm now working on a second Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics, it's what I should have done in the first place.
Now, I have two children and I'm trying to earn a better degree. It's really difficult trying to study Calculus while the children are damaging my property or killing each other.
