I think that the cause of teenage pregnancy is because of the parents.Teens do sex driven by criousity. The curoisity is caused by parents because the do not speak free about sex to their child.Well what do you think .Please Reply.Parents Be Honest.
If any say that parents is not a problem then why dont parents talk freely with their childrens about sex.In 90% of teenage pregnancy the teen do sex driven by curiosity.

parents should keep talking to their children as they grow up, and keep up with what's going on in their lives. They should teach the children about sex in age appropriate steps. By age 12 they should pretty much know it all, and by 15 all girls should have an OB-GYN appointment because they are having periods and are likely close to having intercourse. The parent can request that the GYN doctor talk to your child about whether or not they are having sex, if they think they will be soon having sex, and whether or not they need birth control. A few choose to put off sex until later in life which is great.

sometimes it can have something to do with it, but not always. some parents go out of their way to talk to their kids about it but it don't do any good because they think they know everything-the teenagers, or they have sex thinking it will make them more popular or cool or the guys will like them more if they do, when all they are actually doing is making a huge mistake for their age, and making their life alot harder. if they are going to be stupid enough to have sex they should be using alot of protection. but i don't believe that it's always the parent's fault, it's the teen's fault for making a stupid decision

while i think that that is an interesting point - i dont think that its accurate.
its whatever the teen wants to do. ive really come to the conclusion that people will do whatever they want to do - and they wont do what they dont want to do.
and its as simple as that. parents can make the consequences unbearable - so that the teen wants to do right. but its ultimately the teens decision.
and for your scenario - lets say that all the parents talked about was sex, and didnt hold anything back - its not going to satisfy their curiosity, it will only satisfy their curiosity after they've tried it. it will answer most of their questions - but not the biggest one 'whats it like - to feel it first hand'.

Why would I star rate this question when it is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The reason for teen pregnancy is that teens aren't paying attention in sex ed classes, they want to believe their peers rather than those who know. I'd tell you to get your head out of where ever you've got it stuck up but I can see it would be very difficult for you to do so...

It depends. My parents taught me supposedly sex before marriage was wrong. So when I got pregnant I was kicked out of my home.
