You can, but there's reasons not to. Your cervix is open during your period, and having sex during your period can introduce bacteria into your open cervix. This is a historic thing, not a new thing. In fact it's documented in the old testiment, that historically women have been advised to be chaste during their period. But generally, since people are cleaner than they were during old testiment times, and most men are circumsized now, just wash up with a little soap afterwards, and you'll be fine.

You can-- it's up to you and your partner. Sometimes the shower is the easiest place as far as cleanliness goes, but it's not always that big of a deal.

I don't necessarily agree with what other people are saying about getting pregnant during this time, though! If you have short cycles (24 days in the last 6 months) you can get pregnant if you have sex after the 4th day of your period. If you have longer cycles you can usually have sex through the 6th day. But after that you'll enter the more fertile stage of your cycle. Usually ovulation occurs somewhere between day 12 and day 16.
Anyway, you should not be having unprotected sex at any time if getting pregnant is not an option for you, and you should also be sure to guard against STDs.

Of course. It's just a matter of whether or not it bothers you or your partner. Mine is perfectly ok. You just have to take some extra steps. I would suggest laying down a towel first. Missionary works best, less room for mess. Then when your down you'll have the towel ready just in case. Also the shower is great because you do not have to worry about anything. A great perk is it can also help with cramps!

There is nothing that contraindicates coitus during the mestrual period,,,,only inconvenience, mess, and the sensation of messy glue between the two partners, however, no real medical reason has been described to contraindicate such practice-. Other opinions are based on hear say, or plain lack of knowledge about hygiene and sex....
I am serious

Yes. Some people may find it a little gross. I do all the time. If they don't mind getting some blood on them then its all good. If you don't know this, then don't have sex because you don't know enough to be having it.

Yes you can, will be a bit messy, but there isn't any harm in it. Also used as a good form of birrth control.

You can have sex anytime you want too. It will just come with a little more mess when you are on your period and it is kinda gross, but you can.
