what are your thoughts on Shakespear's words?

True, but there are some thoughts about good and bad which big majorities hold, which gives, at first glance, the impression of absolutes.

If your society thinks firmly about good or bad in particular areas, *your* thinking differently leads to trouble more easily than it leads to freedom.

My thoughts on Shakespear are that he was a man before his time. A brilliant wonder, a true masterful messenger!!! He told the truth so plainly so sweetly, a child could understand it, yet adults did not. He is right, nothing is good or bad in the world but thinking makes it so...

He is saying that.....

Only man dictates what is good and what is bad. Think about the Vikings or the Cavemen- their idea of good is today's idea of bad, i.e.: rape, stealing, burning other's houses, killing, etc.
If we "think" about it, everything is bad in someone's mind!
