A woman asked a question yesterday and said it cant be an std becasue she has never had unprotected sex

How CAN they say that they have never had unprotected sex so it CANT be an std yet state they are however many weeks pregnant? They do it all the time?? WHY?!

They shouldn't say this. But it is easy to say. Can, can't and shouldn't are different concepts.

"Protection" is protection from pregnancy. So having sex while on the pill can be considered "protected" sex. But, it is not protection from STDs.

ON the other hand, being pregnant means that you have been both un"protected" and been exposed to bodily fluids from another person. This is definitely a chance for transmission of STDs.

The only truly safe sex is no sex. But, try to do that.

i don't understand that either. she had to have had unprotected sex or she wouldn't be pregnant, i think some people just make up questions to see how many people are dumb enough to believe what they are saying. they need to get a life and grow up
