I have checked all the major hardware stores and looked online, but I cannot find one. I am looking for a snake light/work light that has a rechargeable battery pack. I don't want one that uses regular alkaline batteries.

look on line, google Black & Decker Snake Light.
I know some other companies have come out with knock off versions of this product and where I used to work has carried both and the original is much better in terms of staying in place when you wrap it up in shape for what you need to use it for.

I would try Home Depot or Lowes.
