i have asus p525, if im not mistaken. Does it need a modem? Computer wizards help!

well, i never heard of a pocket PC connected through dialup however , this is done using a modem. if you have a modem built in or if you can connect the pocket PC to an external modem then you will be able to connect using a dial up if there is a software on your pocket PC that supports this.

To sum up you will need :
1) Built in modem or External modem
2) Application that will perform the dialing procedure

I would use the built in Wifi and use a hot spot.. why would you want a 56K when you can fly! Get the book out.
