the distance anymore, what would you do to make it vanish?
distance in whatever...

I'm guessing this is a distance that both would like to see reduced. And I'm guessing at a geographical distance. Me? I'd take the chance and move. Go. Life is too short to regret chances not taken. And I know it's not that *easy*. Maybe a point in between?

Either that, or I'd accept what I'd chosen by default, and look to other places for other things. Wistful can be good... but it can hurt, as well.

Grit my teeth and make the distance shorter through hard work and determination. Or I'd go sit on the couch and just forget about the distance altogether. One or the other.

Erase that distance by buying a plane/train/bus/whatever ticket :)

I'd meditate and hope for an elusive transcendence to bridge the gap even though it hasn't worked before.

I would wish myself over the Internet to my friend's location, I could tell I was at the right location just by the feel of her presence.

I would take whatever steps were necessary to close the gap.
