I would rather live in a small town because I grew up in small towns and I really don't like the city.

Small town. I come from a small town but currently live in the city. People are just nicer in small towns.

Small town. I live in a small farming community, lots of wide open spaces. The city is nice to visit, but I just couldn't live there.

Big City.

I live in a really small town (apx. 3000 people) and it is dead boring. We have to drive about 30-40 minutes to get to the nearest mall. Aside from that, there isn't much diversity here. Almost everyone here is family-oriented.

I do live in a small New England town with a covered bridge, gazebo in the town center and a church that chimes like Big Ben in London....

Having lived in both, they each have the advantages / disadvantages. But personally, I would prefer to live in a small town, where people actually know their neighbors, life is not as hurried and most people are genuine when they ask how you are.
