I have a 2006 Ion. I traded in my 1997 SC1 and as the original owner. I like both cars. However I have noticed some odd electrical issues with both. Never anything that prevents driving it tho. My last one had the check engine light on for about 6 of the 8 years I had it. Still ran perfect tho so I didn't care.

we are designers and builders of hybrid vehicles, and in our journey and opinion, the batteries used on the instant are approximately 10 years at the back of the circumstances, and manufacturers like Toyota and Honda at the instant are not pressing the issue by annoying extra effective products. in case you fairly perform a little comparisons of gas/diesel vehicles to hybrid vehicles, you're fairly saving hundreds of greenbacks by no longer procuring a hybrid. Hybrids are fairly designed as grocery and short commuter vehicles, and don't shop sufficient gas/funds for commuting over 12 miles one way. in case you will purchase one, first examine your states licensing regulations for hybrids, as a extensive style of states are surcharging hybrids as much as $750 each and every 2 years for license tabs, pointing out that the state is making up for misplaced gas tax. coverage firms have additionally jumped on the bandwagon pointing out that a small collision in a hybrid, on average, expenses the employer 34% extra for a declare. interior the long-term, say 7 years, you will shop approximately $500 average whilst it fairly is all further up, and the inconvenience of service (basically sellers at this factor service a hybrid), downtime would be extra of an draw back, yet once you fairly need to maintain the earth, decide for the Toyota Prius, park it and experience your bike.
