Instead of looking at the past, or considering my age. I keep the following in mind:
1) Life is a gift
2) Time is limited, make the most of every minute
3) Live up to your potential
4) You will be able to enjoy more by keeping your health
Regardless of where I am in life, I respect life and can honestly say I'm doing my best. So I never think I'm wasting my life, and it's FAR from being over.

Boy did I ever.....I just turned 31 and I too am looking at my life and wondering where it has gone and what i have done with it......a month ago I decided to take my 6 yr old daughter and move home with my parents (i know, i know....but we get along great and its free) and I enrolled to finish nursing school......I will be able to work part time and concentrate on school.....but i realized i have to stop making excuses and just do it.....I used to say "by the time I get out of school I will be 35"....but hey guess what...I'm gonna be 35 anyway!! might as well have a degree......this is a time for you to reevaluate your life and do things you won't regret not doing......good luck and hang in there...

lol I remember when I turned 29, I was so sad. I thought it was my last year to have fun because when I turned 30 I needed to straighten up and get serious about life. I am 55 earn a good living, raised my kids, love my grand kids and wouldn't change a thing.

At 30?? Sometimes I did! At 40?? Sometimes I did again! But then I decided that I still have a long life ahead of me, and that I couldn't even have 15 seconds ago back again... So I tore the rear view mirrors off my Harley, kicked it into gear, and I haven't, and won't, look back and whine! Carpe Diem!! (Seize The Day!!)

Yup, I spent 3 days crying,,,,,literally. I woke up on the 4th day & realized nothing had changed. At 40, I felt much more mature, & it didn't bother me that much. At 50, I said "Hallelujah!" I can now do crazy things, blame them on my age & get away with it! I'm really looking forward to 60. I can be a hot sexy Grandma then!

Average age of women in USA is about 77 years.
At thirty you have lived 1.5% of your life only 2.5 percent left.
They also say that life starts at forty.
Don't know about that one but at thirty I felt it was a perfect time to evaluate your life and plan the 47 years of your life.
This should put things in perspective.
Stay young at heart and live one day at a time.

This didn't hit me until I turned 40. Then again about a month ago as my oldest daughter is planning her wedding. It gets better with time because you realize you still have plenty to look forward to. For me it's traveling when all of our children are graduated (about 2 more years) and of course grandchildren. I see my sister with hers and think, yeah that looks like fun! Keep your head up. It will get better!

No, but I will at 50 !! 30 is still young enough, so if you have wasted it, you have time to make some changes.

I'm 32 this year and haven't felt like that so far!!
I think age is on how you live you live not on how many years you have.
If there was at least one thing you did with all the passion on your life then you don't have to worry for nothing else

no, i feel like my life is ahead of me. i did waste my early life in some ways (i must learn some life lessons many times before they "take") but i have started on a new path and i feel like their are many things out there for me now that i didn't or couldn't see before.most of this change came about right around thirty.
