When your CPU's lights doesnt turn on:

- Check power cables
- Check power supply

If they are all OK. Your problem is your CPU's powerbox. I had two powerbox shorted before and had to have them replaced.

Take your CPU to the nearest computer hardware store and have them replaced your powerbox, its not that expensive anyway - try asking for a 500 watt or above - it should work well with a mediocre setup.

Hope it helps.

Do you have power to it and have you made sure it is plugged into a working outlet? If that isn't it, the thing may have died. You may try to install Windows 98 from CD. Good luck.

Also check to see if there is a power switch on the back of the computer with the power supply. There can be a setting to be sure you are at 110 volts, and then a separate power switch there that needs to be on. Then check for a power switch on the front of the unit - you will need to press it.
