I'd say we're not at our best. I wrote a poem about it, all the women who've read it think its hilarious. Men don't want to even see the book its written in.

So YOU men don't see the big deal.
Have you considered just how we feel?
A couple of days before it starts
We get pains in our lower parts
If you're fortunate, it doesn't increase
But your hair feels full of grease.
Then it comes, a bright red flow
Not the blue water the adverts show.
The thought of leakage makes you fret
And YOU patronise and call us "pet."
Is it any wonder we snap and yell
When our body is going through hell?
Just when you think it can't get worse,
You realise why it's called 'the curse'.
It's not just liquid, there is some clotting
And the smell reminds you of something ... rotting.
The pains come back, isn't that nice,
Your temperature plummets, you're cold as ice.
Suddenly, you're hot ... just as quick.
Your brain feels fuzzy, your head feels thick.
It's only five days - more or less
But it feels like forever you're in distress
So next time YOU feel its a bit of a fuss.
Stop and think what its like to be us.

Motivation - screaming PMT with a MCP (male chauvinist pig) standing in front of you.

Lol well, not that absurd though. But I've observed that whenever my period's coming, I'd always be temperamental. I already know that it's a sign but sometimes I guess it kind of makes me crazy because I don't like mood swings and sometimes it's hard for me to control my temper. And yes I do often regret my actions whenever I was not in the mood but I do try as much as possible to hold on to myself to not let things get worse and let those feelings affect the people around me. But of course these only happen at times when my hormones are kicking in really hard. It depends on every woman.

Some men think of it as a joke (not all) but you are in constant pain for days. You feel sick and tired but to make the pain stop you have to get up and walk when all you want to do is sleep. When you wake up in the morning you feel like crap. You have black bags under your eyes. No matter how many pain relievers you take the pain is still there. Someone could say something normal like ''Sure is a nice day'' and you would will either crack up or start crying. You can't help it. You look in the mirror and you look and feel bloated and just horrible. Just another think we have to endure a week every month :(

Depends on your definition of crazy.
During my time of the month, I can be a real b itch. I lose my temper easily at the slightest things. I cry just because I feel the need to, not because anything is really wrong.
Unfortunatly I do say things that I really don't mean and regret it later.

Hi there Charles R, This whole subject makes me crazy!!! I think that this 'P.M.T' thing has been blown out of all proportion. Yes some women have stomach cramps and pains each month, and we all have varying pain thresholds; but Jeez, women should take some painkillers and/or see a doctor to help ease the pains and damn well get on with it! In my opinion, I think that women use it as an excuse to get away with being obnoxious. I have experienced terrible pains in the past, but I have never taken it out on anyone, or used it as an excuse for any misdemeanors. Some women are really such drama queens and attention seekers!

YES!! As I've gotten older, I am a total wreck. I am more emotional, not as angry as I used to be, but just a mess. I'd almost rather be angry then feeling depressed & wanting to cry. As far as saying or doing things I might regret, I at least have the sense now to think about it first instead of trippin & acting out immediately. Be glad you are not a female!!

Not really crazy but irritable because of the symptoms we feel like dysmenorrhea, esp if very severe, mood swings, and uncomfortable feeling way below. So you men should understand that every time a woman has her period, men should be more compassionate and comforting to support what we women feel every period. If only we could trade places with you guys so you'll know how we feel!

It's a spectrum. Some women have really bad PMS, for some it doesn't affect that much. I sometimes get slightly moody and some mild physical discomfort but I'm not a horror to the people in my life.

It is possible for women to be crazy when it is their time of the month. I have severe reactions when I get my period,it's a hormonal problem that causes me to have serious mood swings. I have seen a doctor and have had therapy to treat my symptoms. To all the women that don't believe it is possible, You're wrong.
