1. I know it is normal to have dischage, but it feels like mine is just rediculous. I get so much that I need to change my underwear atleast 3 times a day and It smells really bad.

2. I got my period for the first time about a year ago, and I have really heavy flows. I'm a small girl but I soak through super plus tampons every hour and a half for about four days.

Do you have an explanation or should I talk to my doctor?

Definitely time to see your doctor for an exam.

Firstly, a little discharge is okay, but that's a very large amount. It could be an indication of some sort of infection which needs to be treated right away. The smell is also a good indication of that.

A heavy flow isn't unusual since you only got your period a year ago, but it sounds like you're uncomfortable with it. When you talk to your doctor, s/he can give you options for reducing it to a more manageable level. I went on birth control about a year ago for the exact same thing, and it has really lightened things up, so that might be an option for you.

I would definitely go get checked up. Have your doctor address these problems, and then you should probably have a visual exam and a pap smear. It's a bit awkward if you haven't had one before, but trust me when I say it's not a tramatic experience. ^_^

Good luck hun!

1. wear a pad if you have that much discharge that you need to change your underwear...

2. talk to your doctor about your heavy flow, its normal but they might have something to help it be lighter (birth control pill may be an option here).

Have you had a pap yet? Talk to your doctor and get a check up to make sure nothing is wrong down there.

Fluctuating 15 lbs is not good. There must be a problem. Get a thyroid test. That was my problem. On meds now and I have lost 10 lbs. The sodas are the death of you. You say they dont affect your sleep but they do. Caffine does wether you think it does or not. Drink flavored water or even decaf. tea and maybe you will see some weight come off and stay off. It isnt good to eat at the times you said cause your body is just storing the fat you eat. Eat a bigger breakfast. Eat fruit and veggies and stay away from flour, meal, sugar, anything white. The sodas will catch up with ya. your kidneys will pay the price. You may eat more than your friends but maybe they are bird peckers?? Just walk alot or exercise it off. Hope you do better. Use Goody pm to hlep with sleep and you wont be eating. Good Luck

Definitely talk to your doctor. You could be having a yeast infection. About your period it really dont matter your size but if your not feeling comfortable with your heavy flows also talk to the doctor about this.
