Mowing lawns, walking dogs, getting a paper route, and saving birthday/christmas money. Once you have some money don't spend it. Save it all, until you reach your goal. It can take forever to save if you treat yourself every payday. I had paper routes when I was younger and I made $468 a month at age 12. There were a couple hundred houses so it took hours every day but it was worth it I bought a Nintendo 64 right when it came out. Yeah, now I feel old

Go pick berries if you live in NY.
"On farms, 12 and 13 year-olds who have farm work permits to pick berries, fruits, or vegetables may not work more than 4 hours per day, before 9 a.m. or after 4 p.m. or when school is in session from the day after Labor Day to June 2Oth. From June 21st to Labor Day, they may work 4 hours per day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. There are no hour regulations for farm work that apply to minors 14 years of age or older."

Just some ideas... babysit, cut grass, clean elderly peoples homes and yard. Maybe you can get your parents to call the local employment agencies and see what other 12 years olds do.

Well if you can get some extra cash from your parents for extra projects around the house.
Cutting lawns and doing yard work for people around the neighbourhood works.
Washing cars, doing windows, helping elderly people with odd jobs and errands.
Deliver newspapers.

offer to mow lawns. i got like 20 bucks a week from one house when i did that, but then again- it was front yard AND back yard, including edging sweeping etc. and the people had moved out and it was vacant and they were trying to sell it and the lawn had to look pretty, but still its a good idea... GOOD LUCK :)
