If you know she is the Queen of the UK why did you put England on the main question? The British public actually makes a £180 million profit form the Royal family because of the surrendering of profits from the Crown Estates. The Royal Prerogative is divided into two groups those de facto controlled by the Prime Minster and other Ministers which are political in nature and the Constitutional ones the Queen holds. Americans always think their system is the best "roles eyes" Yet they don't realise out of the 30 recognised full democracies only three use the American Presidential system and none fall in the top 15. BUT guess what 7 out of the top 10 democracies in the world have Constitutional Monarchies. The reason we have not had a black PM is obvious the UK has only about 2% of the population who are black compared to the 12% in the USA is just more unlikely that they would ever gain the post but we do have a percentage of MPs the same as the percentage of ethnic minorities in the country. Another question we could then ask why has the USA never had a female President even though women account for 50% of the population, The UK/England/Scotland has had one female Prime Minister and over 8 female Heads of State. Not to mention the USA suffers the worst out of all the developed countries in the world with inequality. Especially in terms of income, your country has the biggest difference between the richest and the poorest. Also how did George Bush II not inherited his post? We respect our Queen because she is a brilliant Head of State and has earn't it through a lifetime of dedication to her country both before she was Queen and for the last 60 years ago and with little chance of retiring. She is also the only Head of State who actually served in World War II.

Bo Dereck and any retired cop that lives on the side of a mountain in So.Ca that is slightly greying, a tad overweight, wears glasses and has a small bone spur on his right heel. I guess that could be just about anyone.

No one from Hollywood, on TV daily, or in the music industry! They have no political credibility and do not relate to real people at all!

edit - I do not come back to many questions, but I have thought about yours and still do not have an answer. I just have a hard time thinking in terms of a monarchy! (and I am glad of it.)

I'm not voting for anyone to be KING or QUEEN (sorry just can't go there).....

But if someone is going to rule for life.......I'll take Colin Powell. I'd trust this man with just about anything.
