just wondering, because the only way charles won't become king is if the queen is still alive. and comparing the queen's health to charles' health, i would say the queen has a good chance of outliving him. I mean if the queen can take plane rides, walk around jamestown, and watch a derby while eating pizza while charles is sitting in london doing nothing, then she's not going anywhere for a while. and also considering women live longer than men and charles is already starting to become senile, its a great possibility that the queen will outlive charles. i don't know about people who live/vacationed/went to college in london (please answer if you did), but i personally think charles is an old wash bag. is it really true he cheated on diana? i give him props after the funeral for convincing everyone she was a queen while everyone, including elizabeth II was basically calling her a whore, but in the end hr doesn't seem like he has a moral standard (really - who does, look at tony blair!)

I don't care, I wish they would get rid of all the royals, they are useless.

I think that Prince Charles has been ahead of his time for a long time, he had his estate be all organic, and has promoted organic produce and livestock for years. Prince Charles has some very good ideas, people need to quit poo pooing his ideas just because they don't like him as a person & listen to him. He is very intelligent and I think he would make a wonderful King!

It makes no difference what you want, Charles IS the Prince of Wales and successor to the throne.

I think he will be an excellent king, he has spent his life preparing for the throne, he is well educated, intelligent and forward thinking.

I'm glad he and Camilla have finally married, a lot of grief could have been saved everyone, if he had been allowed to marry her in the first place.

Whether you want Charles to be king or not makes no difference.

So long as he outlives his mother and doesn't convert to Catholicism or marry a Catholic, he gets the job.

Charles 4 King - he has my vote

The work he has done to promote CAMs and organic farming is wonderful. The work he does to promote the UK abroad is great.

His biggest ever mistake was to marry Di - he never loved her. But he was pressed into it.

yeah, there isn't too much of an age gap between the queen (81) and charles (58) and charles already LOOKS older than the queen. hopefully the queen will outlive him so the TRUE and MODERN king and queen of britian (william and kate) will reign. GOD SAVE THE KING! GOD SAVE WILLIAM!

Royalty are all human. Queen Elizabeth II's famlily has more skeletons than all of England's cemetaries.

Like it or not, Charles is the successor. Only time will tell whether he will actually assume the throne.
