Pay attention to the details, and keep in mind that time spent on repetitive and boring tasks further the goals of the whole company.

The online applications for Coles and Woolworths are not for an available position but for a pool of applicants that are then "tapped" when a position comes available in a nearby store. Some stores only have 2 intakes a year, others hire one at a time. Seriously you should not expect to hear anything for at least a month. A friend of mine got an interview for Woollies 6 months after his application. Its not like they had a job advertised - you are saying "in the event of an opening, please consider me". If there is no opening, they are not going to waste time interviewing people for a non-job. Just be patient.

they want you to work but some jobs you can loose concentration so switch to another task like sweeping the floor or something else and then get back to that other job in a few minutes
