If you look at the stock market , you can clearly see that the percentage of the US economy solowing down isnt really that significant. The US Dollar though is slowly losing its value time by time, what you can be sure of is that the dollar wont be valued as it was back in 2000 or back!

Not so you'd notice. Growth is generally quite strong, albeit with significant quarterly fluctuations. Retail is down somewhat, but exports are okay and the technology sector is doing quite well. We had a bad freeze this spring, so the harvest in the eastern part of the nation is likely to be terrible this year, but everything seems relatively okay otherwise.
