lets say I purchase 300 quick pick tickets for $300 would my odds improve to 1 in 147,000 ??

of course, I wouldn't blow my money like this...but I am curious to know...ty

actually, I did my math wrong, figured it on 300 to 40 million (not 47 million)...thanks for the correction....

The answer is almost yes; there is the very slight chance (incridibly small) that more then one of your quick picks will turn out to be a repeats--if this happened, and it could, your odds would not be exactly 1/147000. However, neglecting this small chance your answer is yes.

It would actually improve it to 1 in 156,667. You'd need to buy 320 quick picks to improve your odds to 1 in 147,000.

Addendum: Man, I just realized that all I had to do was to divide 47,000,000 by 300. <---(Feeling stupid today).
