Your best bet for a nickname is to ask those who are very close to you. They are better qualified to give you a fitting nickname. Your nickname need not be based on the phonetics of your name at all. For example, I know some girls on my softball team that have nicknames based upon their personalities at bat or in the field. So, maybe try asking some close friends.

Maybe you can use ash but you may not want that cause many people have it with the name Ashley

ley is kinda kool, sort of exotic. yelhsa that's your name backwards, how about ELSA from you name backwards. or maybe Sa , a Thai name.
