I will be typing something and before I can think about what I will type, it will already be on the screen. Do my hands move faster than my mind? Is that possible?

The only instance I could see this occur is when you have typed certain phrases, words or thoughts over and over again. You have a motor memory in your brain, which your fingers might 'slip' into if those patterns are started up and your mind wanders. (I've done this in the past, but generally what I type is legible but wrong and it only occurs for a few words before I snap out of it).

Peace

Actually, yes and no...

When you're typing, your mind is ahead of your hands...
But your eyes actually reading what you type lags behind, or speeds ahead of your thinking process depending on your "multi-task" "staring-into-space" "bouncing back and forth" with your eyes ability, and your ability to "imagine" the next thought simultaneously typing out the last one without being "conscious" of it...
Happens all the time..
.
Isn't writing cool?!?

Your hands are controlled by your mind, but I believe you type very fast.
Sounds like your mind is a little sleepy.

Your subconscious is typing for you before its registering with your conscious mind.
