I observed in in mainstream media. the only state run television in this u . s . replaced into Fox information in throughout the Bush administration (they have been a right away mouthpiece for Bush and Co) i think of you maximum probable stay in a pink state the place definitely everybody hates Obama, and that's the reason you think of his scores are 20 p.c.. whether, you would be unhappy to be conscious of that maximum persons interior the US stay in on the coasts in and around super cities. the place I stay the Obama score is closer to eighty 5% approval, yet i'm smart to be conscious of that the completed u . s . isn't an identical because of the fact the bubble I stay in. additionally, the actual undeniable fact that your image is that of an anti democracy watergate criminal speaks volumes approximately you. via how, minorities are individuals too. It pisses me off to type in an answer that I know is the absolute truth only to see the person who asked it give the top answer to a complete lie!!! so yes Im thinking there is a fair bit of fiddling with the answers here on YA, its probably a few dozen paid neocons trying to muddy up the waters AGAIN. Theyve already started censoring MySpace, and Google, they wont stop until they control all internet content and access.

Bush was not elected by the majority. He was shoved down our throats. He was never the choice of "We The People" in his first term. However "We The People" put him in office this time.

So grin and bear it, he's out next term and just think we'll probably get someone worse!!

Trickle works exactly as it is supposed to work. It doesn't work they way they pretend that it will. Many people starved to death in this country because of trickle down in the 1920's. Many of the very people who support Bush are only alive today because of the Democratic party. How's that for not learning from history?

I find fault with Bush's manufactured reasons for invading Iraq, his forcing his religious beliefs down our throats, his trickeld own tax policies which haven't trickled dow, and a number of other things.

But I'll give him this: He believes in his Iraq policy and at the cost of his poll ratings, he's sticking with it. It take courage and a certain confidence to buck the trend like this. It is the very same kind of courage which prompted the 9-11 terrorists to hit the accelerator as they approached the Twin Towers.

No matter what the Bush supporters say, the majority of Americans know that the war in Iraq is a tragedy of mayor proportions. That it was an unnecessary war and that Bush sold it to the Americans people under false pretenses.
The American people do not believe Bush and they do not trust him. They also believe that America is going in the wrong direction.

Excellent question. I have also noticed that the percentage of Bush supporters on Yahoo Answers seems to be disproportionately high. It is rather strange.

What do you think a poll would show if Americans were simply asked if they think accepting defeat in Iraq is an acceptable policy?

Polls can be manipulated so easily by just the wording in a question, the demographics chosen for the pole, the region, the pole takers bias and so many other factors.
I answer most questions with a definite conservative, pro-Bush slant and when I recently looked back on the answers, I tallied almost an exact equal number of thumbs up as thumbs down - this doesn't reflect the polls and approval ratings we are being fed through the mass media. I find the same thing when I talk to different people I meet - in no way do I find 7 out of 10 people beating up on Bush for his performance as president or his war policy - in other words, my own personal experiences don't match up with what I'm being told by the media - and I live in a very blue state.

I don't really think Bush cares, he can't run for office again. I think the only reason we are in Irac is because of the elder Bush.

Both. People with unpopular opinions and beliefs tend to let loose on the internet where they can't damage their real life by speaking their opinions and being shunned.
Have you never noticed how much racism is openly stated on the internet as well?
