Not really since I did 21 years behind the wheel or handlebars of a police vehicle going to those jobs. Unless I thought they needed more help and I could relieve an officer at an outer perimeter part. I still help sometimes and I carry my gun and badge all the time, but my day is pretty much done with that stuff. I'm a has-been at 43.. oh well.

I know what you mean. If I were already in my car and out then yeah. If I were sitting at home then I'd just get the newspaper. I live in a small town and EVERYTHING is in there.

No, that does nothing POSITIVE to contribute to
the situation.

You go home, or somewhere else. In my town, this
might happen if somebody talked back to the manager
of Walmart.

I'm not even busy, and I won't do go check it out.

Only if I had my camera with me. Newspapers pay big bucks for decent shots, and many police departments use scan blockers now so police scanners are useless to reporters.
