I love rock music in general and at the moment I am so infatuated with My Chemical Romance. They are an absolute favourite at the moment, probably the only band that really blew me away in a looooong while since I first heard Metallica's Seek and Destroy back in the 80s. I am 36... My daughter (13) shares the same musical taste and plays piano and drums. All of my friends think I'm past my due date, I should mellow down..... Any MCR fans out there??

I think you should listen to them! You are like me and my mom. She is 35 I am almost 13, She LOVES MCR just like me! It is a great bonding experience. You can go to concerts together. If you like the band, it shouldnt matter what your age is.

no your not to old. their is actually a myspace for people that like mcr over 30. i thought that was funny. but anyways no your not to old. it just means you still have a good taste for music. besides Gerard is 30. the good thing about mcr is that their music reaches/ attracts. all ages. MCR rocks. they are my favorite band. i know a 50 year that likes them too. im 18 and like them.

Teens like me! Must most indulge in their music!
So, alive, full of wit! And very provocative!
They got a sense of taste you know!
Besides.... Nobody's never too old to be a fan of any band!
Even my Uncle too is fund of My Chemical Romance!
We both collect cd's, albums, posters of the MCR!
My wallpaper here in my pc and even in my phone is MCR!
Im such their fan! and I would like to see them someday! and Im really looking forward to it!

Nah, music knows no age boundaries. People just like to pretend it does. And it's nifty that you can like the same music as your daughter, me and my mom did that with Coldplay and it was fun because our musical tastes tend to not overlap.

NO!, there is no such thing as 'too old' for my chemical romance. let your friends listen to what they what and you listen it to what you want. I actually think its pretty cool that you and your daughter share the same music interest :).

Enjoy what you want to enjoy. It's not like you're a MCR groupie. If you want to listen to MCR, listen to it and let your old fart friends listen to Grateful Dead.
