In August 2001 the Seattle Mariners become the victims of the Cleveland Indians’ greatest baseball comeback in 76 years (winning 15-14 after being behind 12-0 in the third inning). I saw this game on TV.

Since you just said baseball game in general it would belong to my little league team. We were down 12-4 with 2 outs in the sixth inning and rallied for 9 runs to win 13-12. Personally I walked twice. This occured approximately 17 years ago. The pitcher involved in the losing effort is actually still involved in psychological testing to this day. We involved in the game believe this game was the starting point to his downfall.

Philadelphia Athletics against the Cleveland Indians, 15-June-1925. Cleveland was winning 15-4 in the middle of the eighth, and the A's exploded for 13 runs in the bottom half, winning 17-15.
Slightly greater run deficits have been overcome, but not in just one inning.

I would say the Dodgers comeback last year was pretty amazing. In the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs, 4 Dodger players hit back to back to back to back (4 homers in a row) to comeback and tie the game. Then in the bottom of the tenth, Nomar Garciaparra hit a game-winning two tun homer. Its not the biggest, but a pretty amazing one at that.

I believe in the early 1950's the Red Sox trailed Washington, 12-5, with two outs and no one on in the bottom of the ninth ... and won, 13-12.

I think last year when the Yankees were down 9-0 and came back to win 11-9. Pretty impressive!
