I'm a Leafs fan and I've been rooting for the Sens since round 1 for a fewreasons: I love the city more than Toronto (been living in Toronto for almost 20 years); I hate Cry-Baby Crosby; and the Cup needs to come home north of the border and the Sens are the best chance for that.

And Sens_Enforcer, now you know how Leafs fans feels daily. Just shrug it off. This is just a game.

I am a Leafs fan, so by trait I cannot cheer for the Sens. besides, Alfredson doesn't deserve the cup for many reason that I don;t feel like getting into. And don't even get me started on the temper of Heately! Basically my opinion on how the Canadian Teams did this year is, we sucked! Canada has the hardest time putting a descent team on the ice which is hard to believe since all the good players are from Canada.

Canadian teams rely solely on one person for each team, their is no joint effort put into the teams. Toronto has Sundin, Calgary has Iginla, Vancouver has Lulongo, Ottawa has no one, Edmonton had Smyth now no one, and who know anything about Montreal??

The next Canadian team that will the cup will be the team who gets younger player, get a good (non-cocky) goalie, and some coach who just doesn't stand behing the bench and chew tabacco.

Well cause I hate almost every team left (espically the New York Rangers and the Buffalo Sabers!!!) I will root for Ottawa to make it to the Finals.

And since it would be totally uncool for a California team to win the cup if they play the Ducks or Sharks (think about that... Ducks and Sharka as Hockey nicknames???) I would again root for them.

However if they play the Red Wings... well then forget about it.... I wont be cheering for Ottawa.

So to answer how will I cheer for the Senators?? Mostlly by rooting very hard against the other teams!!!

Any Sens fans who talk about "Us Against the World" feeling are just tasting what leafs fan get all the time. So don't whine. And classy? The Sens are far from classy, don't fool yourself. You like to think the Sens arent dirty, but thats bull. I know the Leafs are dirty. It's the Leafs. But Neil is dirty. And Alfie proved his lack of class with the mock "stick" incident. That just shows a lack of character. And that cross check on Tucker. Tucker is dirty, always has been, but don't give us the class garbage. That being said, with no vested interest in any one team, so I'll take the Canadian team. But they aren't "Canada's" team. I think I'm in the minority.

As a Canadian , I always cheer for the Canadian team (Leafs fan), even cheering on the Habs at one point, however Ottawa is where I draw my limits. No way would I ever cheer for Ottawa. Remember Sens Suck since 37

I am Canadian but I don't buy into the whole "Canada's Team" thing. All the other teams have mostly Canadians anyway. I actually hate most Canadian teams-especially the Leafs and the Habs and would hate to see them win the cup.
Let's bring the cup back to Canada? Well, it's always here anyways.
I have no vested interest but I hope they lose. I want the Ducks to win.

i won't, and how r the sens canada's team, they have one of the smallest markets in the nhl, they should move 1 maybe 2 of the 3 smallest market teams from canada (Edmonton, Calgary, or Ottawa) to kansas city or portland ( i would say Calgary stays put, sens to kc and edmonton to portland).

Eastern conference has no shot at winning the cup anyway (i live in the southeast). the western conference has much more skill than any east team i've seen. the sens would get blown away by any of the remaining WC teams. Buffalo (choke, choke,) could make it interesting, but i couldn't c it going to 7. if longshot nyr happens to emerge from the east they will get slaughtered in the finals. honestly i think any of the 8 teams that made the playoffs in the west could beat buffalo or the sens fairly easily. just watch the skill level between the 2 conferences; there is really no argument that can be made for an eastern conference team.

Hate us all you will. We'll be classy and enjoy every second of the ride. Incidentally, how did Jersey fans like having their own game thrown at them in the third period? Poetic justice!

To the idiot below me: we had over 20000 fans at the last game. We sell out 90% of the time. Yeah, let's go to Portland.

I'll never cheer for the Sens...I'm a Devils' fan and I hate Ottawa right now (even if I live there lol), I hope that they lost against Buffalo/NY

Well if the Rangers get eliminated, I'll have to root for the West to take it, as Buffalo doesn't deserve it, and I don't want Canada getting the Cup back ;)
