What do the female Beatniks wear?
(Please give me better suggestions other than "wear all black," because I don't have black clothes).

Weren't Beatniks from the 50's? that had to be BEFORE girls wore strictly pants/jeans. So how about funky tights, converse tennis shoes, a short skirt and a t-shirt. By all means some kinda scarf and big funky earrings. Dobie Gillis would love you!

Turtleneck, Berret, sunglasses, long necklaces... hemp jewelry. They're commonly associated with poetry so might try a pen and pad to accessorize. Cigarettes. Small bongos. Coffee.
