Makes Spidey seem like an amateur crime fighter. Also took in down a few notches in my ranking of superheroes.
No other superhero uses a police scanner to discover crimes.
Why would a superhero listen to a police scanner to find out about crimes?

seriosely super man he uses his super hearing and the x men use seribro and spider man dosent have the powers or money to use rhat so he uses the next best thing a radio

Well, you have to remember that when he was starting out, he was an amateur. By definition, unless they are working for the police or some government agency, no superhero is a professional; they don't have training etc.
Without super hearing or telescopic vision, unless Peter Parker is at the Daily Bugle and in the newsroom, reading what is coming in on the teletype, he has no other way to learn what is happening out there. Should he cruise the wifi spots with a laptop to check out the latest breaking news stories to see who needs help?

It makes sense. Spidey is one of the most "normal guy" superhero out there. If you were a superhero, and you did not have any special senses to allowed you to pinpoint crime occurring, what would you do? Sit in front of the TV? Hang out in dark alleys?
I bet Batman does not just rely on the bat singal either.

But that's part of the point. He's an average guy in a lot of ways. He doesn't have a car, either, and has to take the bus or subway like the rest of us (which tends to be a running joke in the comic books). He doesn't have a Batcave or a lair and lots of high tech equipment, he's just a normal guy on a budget trying to get by.

wrong accully mr. incridle does and that is how he nos that there is something going on i mean i am 12 and i have a police scanner that i listnen to sometimes
