A breakfast drink (do they still sell Carnation Instant Breakfast?) I make a soy shake: soy milk, Intelligent Nutrients whole food mixative called Anatomy, frozen strawberries and a spoon of yogurt, blended.
Another great idea is the toaster where you can put an egg and a slice of ham and toast/heat them all at the same time for a breakfast sandwich: they carry them at Target or Kohls for about $30.

Cereal bars are tasty and can be taken with you or how about making up a banana sarnie the night before?

If you have five minutes have a bowl of cereal. You can always pour it in the bowl the night before.

Honestly though just get up 10 minutes earlier and have a proper sit down with a decent brekkie, so much better for you.

packaged foods will have as much fat and calories as fast food.

I suggest cereal, oatmeal, bannana, apple, grapes, melon, plums, oranges, yogurt, granola bars, whole grain toast, eggs, cheese, nuts.

Mix it up and keep it from getting boring. Make sure you have your fridge and cupboards stocked with good things to grab and go so you don't grab junk. When you get home from the store wash and prepare anything that needs it and maybe preportion things in ziplock bags so you can grab them in a hurry.

Start with about half cup of real yogurt:

Monday: add sliced banana, 1/2 teaspoon of real maple syrup and a tablespoon of wheat germ.

Tuesday: add sliced apple, 1/2 teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon or two of walnuts.

Wednesday: add small can of pineapple chunks packed in its own juice and raisins or dried cranberries.

You can repeat these options or come up with other options.
Use your imagination.

These can all be eaten with a slice or two of whole grain toast
based upon your calorie needs.

Eggs and wholegrain toast and an apple. If you have time for eggs... It's good to get some protien and fibre. A lot of cereals have too much sugar....

Scrambled eggs with salsa and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top, and toast. Shouldn't take more than four or five minutes.
