The most common misconception about homosexuals, is that there are "hate crimes" being perpetrated against them
in ever-increasing numbers and severity.
The actual truth is that there have been
more "hate crimes" commited against those handicapped/disabled; there have been more "hate crimes" against the military personnel during anti-war protests,
there have been more "hate crimes" against
Afro-American citizens (by over 300%) - these are figures since January 1, 2007,
according to the US Attorney generals statistics.
One would have to wonder why the gay lobby is pushing the new "hate crimes" bill HR1592 through, then? Its already passed the house, and awaits a senate vote, so some of the Senators asked: why don't we include the Military, senior citizens, the handicapped/disabled and Black citizens to this hate crimes bill; they also suggested to the gay lobby that there should be verbage in this "hate crimes" bill that says religious freedom and freedom of speech should be protected and so written into the bill to stop the arrests of Priests who give sermons that include God's message that being gay is wrong. Ya know what the gay lobbyists said? NO WAY; WE ONLY WANT ELEVATED STATUS GIVEN TO GAYS.

Yep, the most common misconception is that all these gays are being viciously attacked and we need to elevate their status in society above all others based on their sexual behaviors and wardrobe.
Its not only a misconception, its an agenda to kill freedoms this Country was once founded for. God help us all; oh, He will, rest assured.
