In high school sex is not as common as people think - there is not really enough time for it (rather, they do not have the time or the place, unless their parents are never home and they don't have any siblings to annoy them). Usually, though, if a high school boy has had a girlfriend for over six months they've probably gotten around to it, unless they have any special religous beliefs.

As for the prom, most kids that go to the prom go with a friend. Maybe, if the guy is dating the girl he is taking, there's chance that they will. But the majority do not, especially if they are going with a girl who is simply a friend.

The odds for an 18 year old boy to be a virgin are probably 1 in a 1,000. Yes, they either have sex after the prom, or wait until their parents "go away for the weekend".

I am only 14 but heres my opinion! i think that most young men get hornier and hornier as the years pass by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so yea it is hard to find an 18 year old man who is still a virgin! I feel they are stupid and still immature!! they either do it for the pleasure or for the glory! Most men use women for those two reasons!! some times only one and maybe even both!!!! they like the kiss and tell type when he has sex he runs off and tells his friends who he screwed this time and they all just laugh about it!!!!! i think that young men have not matured yet and that they do not realize how if feels to be use for sex, pleasure, and glory

It really depends on the guy...I know a lot of guys I go to school with aren't virgins...and then some of them are. Probably about 50/50 shot that he'll be a virgin when he graduates. On the other hand, most of the girls I know have had sex, except me; I haven't even had my first kiss yet.

I know a lot of men in their 20s who are still virgins. Not because they didn't have the chance, but by choice that they are waiting for that special someone. Some guys...and girls...are all talk and don't really "go all the way".

Well odds are he's not. Girls are pretty lose nowadays but if you have taught him to keep himself then your odds are alot better than most! Don't worry Hun, all you can do is remind them that they don't own their body, God does and we must honor him with our Holy Temples and keep the lines of communication open, esp. between him and your husband. He's a man now and he is going to choose...Try asking him you might just have a wonderful conversation about love and life!
LUck to U!!

I think the odds are higher than you think. Teenagers are all talk. Half the time they just say they've done something to try to be 'cool'.

I know guys who are 18 and 19 who are still virgins.

Some guys do have morals and they do think sex is special.

My best friend is one of those and it makes me love him more.

To be frank.. how can you be so sure he's still a virgin? Just because he's told you he is doesn't truely mean he is one. Back when I was that age, the majority of my friends were not virgins, honestly..

Slim and none, unless you have em under lock and key they're wholl childhood. But, that's not healthy either. The best you can hope for is that they don't come home with the creepin crud. Wrap it before you tap it, is what I tell my boy!!
