No school and more free time

-mosquito bites (summer wouldn't be complete without them)
-barbeques
-taking vacations
-spending summer nights on your block with your favorite people (and some of your not-so-favorite people lol)
- spending time with your friends 1-2 weeks at a time
-Going downtown to shop and actually being able to stay the WHOLE day outside and just enjoy...
-going swimming
-pool parties
-hanging at the beach
-pools, waterparks..
-Six Flags!
-Wearing less bulky clothing
-new songs that come out that put you in a summery mood and later are referred to "the summer song of___(insert year)"
-knowing I can spend the day inside chilling and have the rest of the summer to do whatever...
- the feeling of an air conditioned atmosphere on sweaty skin (walking into a store, your home, restaraunts)
-I hate staying in the house

No more heavy coats and layers of clothes, thick sweaters and turtle neck shirts and long underwear and boots. During the winter my mood and everyone else's around these parts is terrible, you hate to get up out of your warm bed for work in the morning. In the summertime, your wearing lighter clothing, I open the windows in my house and let fresh air in and with the birds singing and the sun shining bright and hot, my whole outlook on life is pure happiness and splendor.
Addition: Oh yeah, and I travel alot in the summertime, far away and local long distance.

The extended sunlight.
And the warmth of the evenings
And not having to wear heavy coats, hats, boots and gloves
And being able to BBQ without freezing the buns
And the extra gas milage
And being able to walk and eat ice cream without having to break the ice cream with a hammer

Warm summer breezes and the long rides with the windows down. We go down
the back roads so that we get to see nicer stuff than endless lines of traffic.

No school, being able to wear my Ray Bans everywhere and not get funny looks, my birthday, beach vacations, tank-tops and gym shorts all day every day, going for early morning runs, watermelon...I just love summer!
