i seen like 5-7 rainbows in the sky so did my boss my mother and a stranger i think i seen this between the years 1996-2000.
They were full circle rainbows.
My question is after years of research and redrawing and painting what i seen i can't seem to find any other sightings, or research.
i'm sure it has to do with ice halo's and reflextion off the waters that are near by state.
it was around 3pm-5pm to in the winter time so the sun was low.
i also remember some sort of a double sun..
i researched all of this and i have yet to find anything simular.

Any thing you think my help is appreasheated. Thanks

You almost certainly saw a display of parhelia and/or solar halos. Parhelia are also called "sun dogs", and are commonly seen in the winter in temperate and arctic regions. Halos are less common. Here are a few websites.

A ray from the final maximum factor on the rainbow to our eye makes an attitude to the horizotal course. theory SAYS this attitude is continuing while we draw a circle with a compass, we shop the attitude between the two legs consistent. think of the ray as one leg of long compass and the horizontal course as yet another leg which factors the middle.holding the attitude consistent while the compass is circled an arc is formed. Mathematically we are saying that the locus of all such factors is an arc of a circle. If water particle have been present day on all factors on the arc we see a non-end arc of a rain bow. for the time of cloudy evening we are in a position to confirm an entire circle of rainbow around moon with moon as center.
