9/11 was God's way of getting the world's attention. Society tried to push the limits of self... "me, me, me"....beyond what God was willing to allow.
In the last moments of your life, do you honestly think your will be thinking of how much money you have? Your Job? Your big house? Your beautiful car? How successful you have become? "I don't think so". I promise you, all of these material things will have no meaning during your last moments on this earth. You will be thinking of your family, how you behaved towards them while you were alive and well. You will be thinking of how the survivers of your family will remember you. Will you be leaving a legacy or will they be glad you are gone? Did you make a difference? Or did you waste your life thinking only of yourself.
God, had to do something to shake us up. Something dramatic enough to reach the world. He (God) needed to do something to reach out to his children. We were drifting further and further away from him.
Society's values changed over the years, putting enphases on self rather than the love of others. Children were no longer important, they were born and soon after became familiar with daycare. Marriages lasted for a short period of time, commitment means nothing today. Having babies without being married is "norm". No one thinks of the unborn child and his or her environment of which he or she will be born into. Family is secondary - making money...having a big house, a well paying job.... a baby,...because I want one, is the selfish wants of today's society. "Love" is not the basis of our intentions or motives today. God had to do something to get our attention and bring us back to reality. He created us for a reason, we all have a purpose here on earth. Consider this thought for a moment....everyone that participated (lives that were sacrificed for us) was place on earth to play a major role in awakening the world back to "truth". Life is not based on things, but people and "love". Family, friends and others. It is people who matter, not things. Yet our lives are based on material matters, not people or relationships. God had to do something....and it worked for a while. Time has passed and people are slowly forgetting 9/11 and what it all meant.

SHOCK SHOCK, we never thought a attack that big would happen. There were some like the car garage bomb in the same building about 10 years earlier but nothing with our own planes. Panic was next, I live in Providence Rhode Island in northeastern USA and they had people evacuating out the skyscrapers here. Also there were more people on their cell phone then almost anytime in History, due to calling relatives and friends to make sure they were safe. over 1200 people died in the buildings and hundreds more on the planes. Then sadness/fear, for the people trapped and who already died. Then revenge. we went to war . Stock market was messed up since it was a WORLD TRADE CENTER). My whole family cried and we really didn't even know anyone who died. IT didn't need to happen and I hope it never happens again. All it did was kill innocent people and just pissed us off. Now their country is all messed up because of one man.

You can't get on an airline without practically stripping for airport security! Then your luggage is gone through like their
at a yard sale! After that you have to either put up with an Islamic praying on your left while a couple acts like their at a
drive in movie!!! Word of advise if you can get around taking a flight do yourself a favor by forgetting the thought even existed!!!!

Since so many lies were told about 9/11, and the fact that our government is keeping so many secrets about it, leads people to not trust the Federal Government. Especially with all the lies told since about Saddam's WMDs, and about the "insurgents" and "Al Qaeda in Iraq". What a bunch of bull ****!

It has affected our rights. It has enabled the government to pass bills and laws taking away parts of the constitution. Telling us the world is different now in order for us to go along with their agenda, thinking we are getting security in place of some given liberties.

The terrorists promised they would bring the war to us. It is not Islamoterrorists intention that we stay uninvolved. If we de-militarize, violence will begin again. Want an accurate picture, you'll have to view more than leftist propaganda.
It has marked a change that has been developing for years. It isn't just contempt for Christians and Jews. All you sexy ladies will dawn the burka and assume a submissive demeanor.
Convert to Islam or die.

It has prepared the U.S. government to deal with the unthinkable. It has made many of us civilians soldiers (eyes) to help out where we can. I think we are more aware of what could've happened and what still can if we are not careful.
