I would say no, look at the A's they are one of the lowest salary teams in baseball but year in and out they make the playoffs. Baseball is investments and steinbrenier knows this and he does that well so you have to respect that. If more teams shelled out the money they could win but on the flip side it could just make everything more expensive so chose if you want more equality look for higher ticket prices.
