Hell no!
After he breaks it the crowd should grow silent and turn their backs on him!
He is just a big doper. Tainted home run record.

The MLB has no right to take anything away from Bonds because of his steroid use. They refused to have a rule about it and they didn't test until the public found out about it and made some noise. They turned a blind eye because the fans enjoyed the offense and the owners were making money. He has never tested positive for steroids (though he has taken them) because they refused to test until a few years ago. I put the blame on MLB for creating this mess even though Bond's is a slimy cheating bastard.

Hmm, that is a good question. I would say no, just because all of the hooplah that is going on with the steroids and stuff. I mean, it is still going to be on ESPN every time that he hits a homer but who knows what MLB is going to do if and when he does break the record-will they still count it? I don't know?

I don't think so, but you need to remember that MLB is big business, and if MLB can profit and make big bucks by promoting Bonds' chasing the record, you can be sure they will!!

Chow!!

they should at least acknowledge it, if not make a big deal about it. remember what a big deal they made outta mc gwire and sosa chasing maris' record? and now selig wants to play like bonds breaking aaron's mark is all a big cheat? what a horse's ***!

yes, they should.
so many people associate bonds with cheating, but think of it this way:
do you really think that babe ruth never had one beer throughout his mlb career, when it was outlawed? sure it was probably to relieve stress, but he still broke a rule. And steroids were also legal for a portion of bonds' career.

he obviously did steroids, but do you want to look at your soon to be All Time HR leader with disgust or glorification?

Yeah! I mean, I have heard that he has been in trouble with the law, but if he breaks a record, that would be rockin' awesome!

I don't think they should and it's really a shame. I used to be a fan of Bonds when he was just a jerk, but I can't take the cheating with him being a jerk.

no. they should not even acknowledge that he even got the record, becuz hank aaron was not juiced, and his record is legit. if barry bonds gets the record and they put him in the books, there should be an asterik beside his name.

No, they shouldn't. He is a steroid abuser who cheated his way to the record.
