Gargle with warm salt water.
Edit: I just read other peoples answers after I wrote mine and I see that a couple of others wrote the same answer as I did. I didn't copy. So I will try to come up with a different response now.
The only other thing I can even think of is sucking on lozenges and taking Motrin, or Tylenol to ease the pain. Sorry, after the warm salt water, there aren't too many other remedies that work to ease the pain, other than antibiotics, and that is only if the sore throat is caused by bacteria, not a virus, which, of course, your doctor would have to determine.
Good Luck!

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. More details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

If I were a guy, (and I'm not) but I'd have something for your throat! LOL
Gargle with warm salt water...drink warm green tea with honey...take some Motrin or Advil or something.
Hope you feel better! I'm suffering with a cold myself but I don't have the sore throat, just the head and chest congestion.
